SWING INTO ACTION AT HISPANIC UNITY OF FLORIDA’S MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT
HOLLYWOOD, FL - October 17, 2012 – Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF) is pleased to announce their second annual MiniGolf Tournament presented by Rick Case Honda. This event will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at AllGolfat CB Smith Park in Pembroke Pines. All proceeds from the event will benefit Hispanic Unity of Florida.
The event kicks off with a shotgun start at 10 a.m., and will be followed by a complimentary lunch for all participants. Raffles and prizes for the top scoring teams will also add to the excitement.
Kids and grown-ups of all ages are invited to play this 18-hole premier mini golf course and sign up as a team of two or four players for just $20 / adult and $15 / child under age 15. Teams can register online at www.HUFevents.org.
The event, created by an all-volunteer group of community leaders, will benefit Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF). The two principal organizers are Cheryl Goldstein, a three-time Emmy Award TV producer and owner of InsaneCreative, Inc. and community volunteer, philanthropist and longtime HUF donor, Elizabeth Sanjuan. Both founded the TodosUnidos (All United) fundraising auxiliary group in 2010 to support Hispanic Unity’s community programs.

Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF) was founded 30 years ago by community leaders to ease the acculturation transition for newcomers from other nations. Today this nonprofit provides assistance through 21 programs - in three languages - to Broward’s diverse community through its six Broward County sites.
